Continued Flooding Wipes Out Roads and Bridges in Tennessee
Just as I said it would, the flooding continues to damage various areas around the world. Tennessee just found out the hard way…
Houses were swept off of their foundations, roads were washed away or broken into small pieces, and bridges were destroyed making travel impossible for those living in the vicinity of the rushing flash flood waters.
People just walked up to the washed out bridge and looked… Shocked and subdued as they assessed the damage to a bridge that they have traveled over so many times they lost count. But they won’t be crossing over the water on that bridge until it’s reconstructed in the months ahead.
Another woman watched as the wet dog made its way around their property. The house was a short distance from its foundation and who was going to be able to restore it anytime soon. It was a flash flood and they were NOT prepared for such an event.
Then there’s the road…broken and washed away. No one is going to get in or out for quite some time using what remains of this asphalt road! The locals will have to walk and find alternate routes. Who knew that a flash flood could do so much in such a short period of time?
We did…
Do you think that these people looking so forlorn in the face of this natural disaster had their Survival BackPack with them in the car or supplies at their house or an alternative location when they would need them the most and need them immediately? No…they were NOT prepared!
You don’t have to face the same situation. You have the ability to get your Preparedness supplies and keep some in different locations and in your vehicles.
Do it now…before some calamity occurs close to you!
