The Chew: A Veritable Fountain of Youth from Food and Laughter
The Chew crew managed to cook up some delectable dishes that contribute to one’s youthfulness on today’s show.
Between Mario, Daphne, and Clinton; the comments moved from outer appearance to inner qualities that age a person. Carla wants to age gracefully like the women of Europe who don’t try to hide their imperfections, but seek to enhance their ‘what is’. Michael shared his thoughts about aging gracefully and beauty at every stage with his precious laughter and allowing outlook on Life.
The truth of Inner Beauty was met with some delicious foods and recipes for using food as facial.
The Chew and the Fountain of Youth
The Pork Soup with White Beans and Dark Leafy Greens is one dish that will nourish the Water Element and the Kidney meridian’s energy. The Chicken with Saffron and Onions recipe that Mario shared featured pomegranate seeds and spices that contribute to Longevity.
While I would prefer to eat the pumpkin, prunes, lemon, and avocado that was smeared in the fellow’s faces, if you have no other natural product, food does work for the skin, too, almost as much as rebuilding from within.
Carla came the closest to one secret with her mantra for going to sleep: “I am getting sleepy”. “I AM asleep and awaken refreshed”…instead.
Of, course, there are herbs and Essential Oils that will do as much or more than these foods for being your veritable ‘Fountain of Youth’. But your attitude is the table from whence you most choose your Path. Yet…food and hearty laughter is an ideal way to start living forever!
