Prepare In Time for emergencies

Which Would You Rather Weather: Snow Storms or Events on a Volcano

As far as ‘Runners’ go…would you prefer yours with a volcanic event or a blanket of snow?

We took the snow storm…

We have around a foot of snow blanketing the ground and turning our evergreen paradise into a white winter wonderland.

Centralia got two feet of snow and that’s unusual.

Of all the 132 school districts in Western Washington, one one still held classes today. They reported that the freezing rain had melted all of their snow and 900 students would still need to attend classes today. Everyone else got to stay home to sled, build a snowman, or stay huddled in warmth inside.

We were ready with plenty of food and water for staying indoors while only the unprepared or those who still had to work were braving the streets.

It’s amazing that decent drivers in rain have no idea how to navigate vehicles properly in snow…

Yet kids and horses seem to instinctively know how to enjoy themselves in the wondrous white blanket! It’s fun to watch kids who have never been in snow before get their first taste of the excitement and refreshing experience this year.

Weather the Runners well by being prepared in time…
